studied under john murray at the dublin drum centre in the late 70s at the same time began playing with original bands eventually forming china doll in the early 80s at the same time embracing technology by being the first band to use a simmons electric drum kit . china doll released one single and appeared on various tv programmes .china doll evolved into a9 piece band bringing in brass and backing singers at the same time went to study jazz under tony sherry in waltons . the way it is released 2 singles in the early 90s both irish top twenty also appearing on various tv programmes . mid 90s formed little sister sage a fusion of folk and rock music toured ireland,the us, Sweden,Finland germany .ls.s released 2 singles appeared on various tv programmes won hot press/bacardi band of the year also disney celtic band competition in france lss experimented with sampling and backing tracks .lss began working with terry woods [the pogues] eventually forming the woods band at the same time went to study under peter ainscough the woods band released 1 album music from the 4 corners of hell appearing on various tv programmes touring finland and Norway england high lite being gig in vicar st dublin featuring a mix of the woods band and the pogues with the legendary ronnie drew .the woods band evolved into the black donnellys . the bds have written toured with george murphy ,ronnie drew the sullivans, roy buckley and many more . the bds recorded 3 albums last year with george murphy [the ballad of archie Thomson] roy buckley and the music of ewan McCall the bd s are also working on new celtic show to be previewed shortly .in june 2011 recently played drums on dave brownes world record breaking guitar marathon which ended up at 114hours 30 mins also play with many corporate and function bands . learn how to work with rudiments single/double kicks / click/backing tracks tuning /triggers live and recording the studio is equipped with 4 kits both acoustic and electric lessons are one to one or share with a pal
